Icy Branch

Icy branch, thawing

We had a series of large ice and snow storms the other day which meant that Wilmore looked as if it had been taken over by the White Witch. As I was walking back to work I stopped to take some photos of a branch that had been covered by ice.

Call me crazy, as a passerby probably thought when she stopped to make sure I wasn’t frozen in place, but I like photographing things I see everyday. That is why I have the photo of the week (ish) section of this site anyway. Without this section I wouldn’t be taking half the photos and I wouldn’t be pushing myself to think about everyday life differently. It’s so much easier to take photos of obviously beautiful things, but forcing yourself to find those beautiful things can be tricky at times.
