Apple Leaf

Last weekend I finally took a cutting from the nearby apple tree and attempted to make it spontaneously sprout roots so that I can transplant it. After getting everything setup I thought it was only fitting to take some photos for what I’m calling “scientific research.”
Obviously this photograph won’t appeal to everyone, but I personally think there’s something amazing about the texture of leaves.

I agree with the amazingness of the texture of leaves. It’s something we easily look over, but it is quite amazing when I actually take the time to look at how the leaf is textured. My favorite though is probably maple, but you still have a good picture of the apple leaf!
Rob: Maple leaves are nice but I grew up in Michigan and so I’m supposed to like apple trees more. That is, of course, unless it’s a forest of maple trees in autumn in which case all bets are off.
