This is the general layout of the Christian Studies Center at the University of Kentucky. 
This is the top section of the Christian Studies Center website. The side bars began their life as a set of painted textures but were simplified for clarity and focus. The navigation bar is also a textured work made in Photoshop and the logo is the work of Jeana Clark, the former Graphic Designer of Asbury Theological Seminary. 
Special interest was taken on my part to incorporate a strong vertical rhythm within the type. Typographical decisions were at the top of my list in design decisions for this site since it needed to be “clean” and stay somewhat artistic.
