The Christian Calendar: A Puzzle

One of the professors at the Seminary approached me about working on a class exercise that would allow his students to visualize the events of the Christian Calendar by moving them around like a puzzle. I built this application in Flash CS3 using Actionscript 2 and some Photoshop and photography work.

In its final stage the application will drop all the scraps of paper onto the desk randomly and allow you to organize them in whatever way you see fit. If you can’t figure it out I have a yellow sticky note that will allow you to see the final puzzle or return the pieces to the pile.

At the moment I have not received clearance to proceed with the exercise (he wants to see the look before proceeding) so there are only two items to move around for now. You can find the puzzle at the demo page though I’m not sure how long it will be there since its final place is buried deep within the infrastructure of our site.
