OneATS - Asbury Seminary's Portal System
June 29, 2008
In the last few months at Asbury Theological Seminary we put together a web based portal system for our users. I think the video (created by Daniel and Paul) explains the functionality the best.
The video was supposed to be here, if you’re not seeing it you may want to check to make sure your Flash player is up to date and you have JavaScript on.
Everything is based on a system of modules, so almost everything is user defined and customizable. To move modules around I created a drag and drop interface:

You can also select the number of columns your homepage should display.

If you prefer a different color and font style you can change those options as well.

There’s also a built in status system that operates on a contacts and group system.

There’s also a forum system built in to the portal. You can define which of our campuses a particular topic is intended for as well as what type of topic it is. (Announcement, discussion or shared document.)
