The Only Constant is Change

When I left Michigan in 2004 I didn’t think I would spend the next 4-ish years of my life in Kentucky. I thought that I would complete my Masters Degree in 2 and then move to someplace outside of the United States.

But things changed — I got married and started working at Asbury Theological Seminary. And it’s not that any of that is bad, I rather like both of those things. As always though, it’s time for another transition.

As of November 21, 2008 I will no longer be Asbury’s web guy. My wife and I will be moving to Michigan where I will work for a large scale web/e-commerce company as an Interface Developer. I’m not sure what I can actually tell about this position, but after some clarification there will hopefully be some more comments in future articles.

I’m excited about getting to see my family and friends from Michigan more often, but at the same time that always comes with the downside of leaving my other friends behind.

All of that being said, I thought I would announce the transition here for the record. I have a week left at Asbury and then a little bit of remote work until my wife is out of school. Once I get transitioned back to Michigan I’ll probably write about things that happen to me there, so maybe the only two constants are change and the fact that I have a website… Although the website is always undergoing some kind of change… does that count?
