On August 30, 2010 at 8:08 PM my daughter Sophia was born. Weighing just 6 lb. 11.5 oz. and stretching to a length of 20 inches, she has taught me so much about life and myself in just this past week alone. Though I’m at least somewhat sleep deprived as I write this, I’m incredibly excited to have her in my life. And, if the trend continues, she will likely be the most photographed baby on the planet.

Oh, and you have to admit… 8:08 is the perfect time of birth for the daughter of an electronic musician. ;)
