Free Photos 2009 - Day 13
January 05, 2010
This photo might not seem like much, but it’s one of my favorite photos that I have ever taken. I was high up in the mountains of Costa Rica when a storm was coming in. I snapped a few photos before running for cover and this photo, to me, was one of the best of the lot. I love the way that the fog engulfs the tops of the trees in Costa Rica, it’s somewhat majestic and terrifying at the same time.
The original file is 2048 × 1536 pixels at 72 pixels per inch, (885 KB), and was taken with my old Fujifilm S5000 camera in 2004. It was a great camera that took amazing photos back then, but the results don’t quite compete with the D80 that I’m using these days.
