The Work of David Brooks

Site Re-Redesign

I love a good joke, maybe even more than “the next guy,” but I think there was just a general lack of enthusiasm today about April fools day to begin with.

And really, that’s fine by me, to each their own. After all It’s probably better to have everyone staying a little more serious than put up with a chaotic internet. There are always those who can pull off a good joke, jokes that we admire and wish we had thought of ourselves.

All things considered I’m glad to have my real site design back. I can quit looking over my shoulder, waiting for someone to bash the temporary design or think I’m serious at first glance. As a remembrance of today I am going to put a link to a screenshot of the “redesign” and call it a night. April fools day is great while it lasts, but I’m glad it’s only one day a year.

LoLz at the Papyrus and lense flare! Just now getting around to reading RSS, too bad I missed it when it was live. :)

Nathan: Thanks for stopping by! I figured of all the jokes I could have pulled this year it had to go along with Papyrus. It just wouldn’t be fitting otherwise.

So, the question is, should I submit my own site to the “Ban Papyrus” group on Flickr?
