Introduction:

My name is David Brooks, during the day I’m the Visual Media Developer for Asbury Theological Seminary but I also I freelance in a variety of audio and visual medias, most notably web. This site is intended to showcase my ability over a variety of those medias.

Why Luz Cannon?

I should probably explain the name of the website itself, LuzCannon.com. Luz Cannon is a mix of English and Spanish. The Spanish word “luz” means light but is pronounced like the English word “loose.” There are a variety of meanings intended for the name; firstly, a cannon of light, something that projects as much light as possible. Secondly, the word “loose” adds a little bit of unpredictability, though, in my case it isn’t exactly an uncontrolled or rebellious thing. To me it’s the idea that I should always be thinking outside the box and keep people guessing.
